Initially supported by the World Resources Institute (WRI, India), Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI) through the JHARVEER platform, Murhu Nari Shakti Kisan Producer Company Limited has established a finger millet (Ragi) processing unit in Khunti, with Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra as the promoting agency. This initiative aims to add value to local produce and meet the growing demand for nutritious millet flour, particularly in institutional markets.

Over 2,000 local tribal farmers benefit from this program through direct procurement of finger-millet raw material at MSP, ensuring fair and sustainable income. Using Solar-based advanced processing technology, including a Ragi Cleaning/De-Stoner, Dehuller, Pulveriser, and Packing Machine, every step—from cleaning and dehulling to grinding and airtight packaging—is precise, clean, and quality-assured, delivering flour that is nutritious, safe, and ready for the market.
